Street art in Colombia is not only allowed, it’s encouraged. Artists come from all over Latin America to paint on the infrastructure of Bogotá. The images in this gallery are a collection of graffiti that I found in Bogotá. It is a small sample, and is only a small portion of the street art that can be found in the sprawling city. New works are constantly appearing around the city, with many active artists living there. Many of these murals are full of color and interesting shapes, some give political or social commentary. On others, the paint has worn down, the colors may have faded, or have been painted over by less talented artists. However, the extensive amount of Graffiti gives the massive city its unique vibrance.
